In 2006, on behalf of the London Company, Hanson PLC, we carried out the verification of the reserves of twenty exploited and as-yet unexploited deposits of stone, gravel and quartz sand, situated in the wider surroundings of Linz (in the Province of Upper Austria). This work was carried out as one basis for the takeover of the Quarzsand GmbH Eferding Company, a leading miner of raw construction materials and a producer of building materials in the area of interest.
BELIZE
In the years 2006-2011, works in Belize were conducted in accordance with the development aid project "Mining and processing of industrial minerals in Jamaica and in selected CARICOM States" that followed-up on the first working contacts between our team and Belizean geologists in 2003 and 2005. The scope of the work was subject to the development objectives and priorities of the partner organisation. The programme included training the staff of the partner organisation, including visits to and training in the CR.

GREENLAND
The initial stage of fieldwork in the areas of two licences was carried out by four of our geologists in August and early September of 2011. Their main objective in addition to refining the areal scope and the deposit development of paleoplacers with the occurrence of rare earth minerals on the island of Milne Land, was to conduct a basic verification of the scale and the deposit potential of primary REE-Zr-Nb-Ta and Mo mineralisations (Traill Island).
GUYANA
Works were implemented in Guyana in accordance with the development aid project entitled "Mining and processing of industrial minerals in Jamaica and in selected CARICOM States" (2006-2011). The scope of this work was based on the development objectives and priorities of the Guyana side, represented by the Guyana Geology and Mines Commission (GGMC). Colleagues from the partner organisation participated in the selection of the sites and in the professional and the logistical implementation of the geological reconnaissance works.
JAMAICA
During its initial stage this development aid programme was implemented in accordance with the project entitled "Development and Industrial Application of Non-Metallic Mineral Resources in Jamaica" (2001-2005) and in its second stage in accordance with the project entitled "Mining and Processing of Industrial Minerals in Jamaica and in selected CARICOM States" (2006-2011).
