Mokrá u Brna – The successful completion of the deposit model

In 2016, we successfully completed the creation of a geological and technological model of the Mokrá u Brna deposit. This model that includes all the archival and the current data makes it possible to increase the efficiency of the mining management. It was also the basis for a new estimation of the resources of carbonate and sialitic raw materials. A total of 250 million tons of limestone (about one fifth of which constitute high-grade limestone) and 50 million tons of cement correction sialitic raw materials rank Mokrá u Brna amongst the most significant deposits of this type in the Czech Republic.
