Algeria - the PROPED mission
Within the framework of the project to support economic diplomacy called Czech-Algerian cooperation for the development of the mining industry, a mission of representatives of Czech companies and the Ministry of Industry and Trade to Algiers took place from 14 to 19 May 2022. The mission was a follow-up to the videoconference held on 12 November 2020. The main objective was to establish cooperation between Czech and Algerian companies in the field of prospecting, mining and processing of mineral raw materials. The mission was organized by the Raw Materials Policy Department of the Ministry of Industry and Trade in cooperation with the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Algiers. Joint projects of geological mapping of southern Algeria, exploration of complex Li-Sn-W ores in old granitoid plutons, mining exploration and technological evaluation of industrial minerals (baryte, bentonite, phosphorites) are very promising for the G E T company.
